Batch Renaming

Don't you just hate it when you have a folder chocked full of images with some problem in their names? Like when you're ready to load them all to your web site and half have spaces in their names or they're not UNIX compatible because of the capitalization that seemed nice at the time. Or how about a typo over and over and over and...?

No sweat! Catalogue has a marvelous batch renaming window to ease your pain.

A single click is all it takes to change the names of hundreds of image files from mixed case to lowercase or uppercase. Change case on just the picture suffix if necessary by holding the Alt key on Windows or the Option key on Macintosh.
Change the spaces to underscores and back again. All it takes is the click of the mouse and maybe the press of a key too.
Replace Target specific combinations of letters to change or correct names. Change TIFF to tif, JPEG to jpg or moonrise to Moon_Rise.jpg.
All over the place
Renaming images does little good if you've already loaded them into your catalogues and all of the associations get broken. No problemo here either. You can opt to inclusively or exclusively change the names within any catalogue. Just choose the catalogue to be affected.
